Rates

Affordability.

As a nonprofit, we want to be able to provide our services at rates anyone can afford, while still providing professional service standards that can meet if not exceed expectations and accomplish objectives.

"People earning less than $60,000 annually are not going to have access to a lawyer based on contingent fees," Theodore J. St. Antoine, James E. and Sarah A. Degan Professor of Law Emeritus, University of Michigan Law School, (Nov 19, 2009 at Case Western Reserve University, School of Law)

Our sliding scale rate structure is based on gross annual income of each party involved in the mediation process.

  • -Each person involved pays an hourly rate according to their income.
  • -Sliding scale fee is $1 for each thousand dollars earned as gross annual income, per person, per hour.
  • -In order to provide these fees, we ask that each party provide proof of income with them to their first session, or submit it prior to their first session.

Details.

  1. Payment may be made by cash, check, or money order made payable to Justice for All, LLC.
  2. Typical mediations may last in duration anywhere from two to four hours, depending upon the parties involved and matters to be discussed.
  3. Since it is very uncommon that matters are resolved in one hour or less, both parties are asked to pay for two hours each either in advance or at the time of meeting.
  4. There will be a $100 fee for cancellations not made at least 48 hours in advance of scheduled mediations.
  5. At the completion of each mediation, participants will be provided a Memorandum of Understanding or Settlement Agreement to list what both parties agreed upon in mediation.

Consultation.

Consultation, which includes activities such as reviewing documentation, calling parties, researching matters related to ongoing mediation(s) and following-up on behalf of a client in other ways is also based on the same sliding-scale rate structure as mediation, to be paid per person, in advance or at time of meeting.

Final Points.

  1. We reserve the right to change these rates as may be necessary.
  2. These rates in tandem with professional service, flexible hours of operation, and an ever-expanding base of other services to be provided (including online mediation to come), provide affordability and therefore access no other mediation provider in the Greater Denver area can match.
